1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the digital services provided by Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) for Velana International Airport, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of our platforms.

2. Airport & Flight Information Disclaimer

All flight schedules, gate assignments, baggage carousel updates, and weather advisories displayed on our website and mobile platforms are provided for informational purposes only. While MACL strives to ensure real-time accuracy, operational changes by airlines or air traffic control can occur without notice. MACL shall not be held liable for any missed flights, delays, or financial losses incurred resulting from reliance on digital flight display feeds.

3. User Conduct & Airport Security

When utilizing our digital platforms or physical airport facilities, you agree to comply with all applicable civil aviation laws and security directives. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Interfering with or disrupting the operational security of our website, Wi-Fi networks, or digital flight boards.
• Attempting unauthorized access to secure passenger databases, airline reservation systems, or administrative portals.
• Transmitting malicious software, automated scraping scripts, or engaging in fraudulent bookings for VIP services.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, trademarks, architectural photography, logo designs, and proprietary software displayed on this website are the exclusive property of MACL or its licensed airline and retail partners. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of any material without prior written consent from MACL is strictly prohibited under Maldivian and international copyright laws.

5. VIP Lounge & Duty Free Bookings

Reservations made for premium lounges (such as Maamahi, Leeli, or Koveli) or pre-orders placed via our Duty Free portal are subject to specific cancellation and refund policies outlined during the checkout process. MACL reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations in the event of security emergencies, terminal evacuations, or non-compliance with airport entry regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MACL and its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use our digital services or airport facilities, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.
